Felskia, from Falls Church, Virginia, asks:
“AJ: Matt Garrett seems like he’s hiding a lot more than he lets on. Is he really CIA? Thanks, Ali.”
Thanks for the question, Ali. I will say that you’re right: there is certainly a lot more to Matt than he lets on. What do others think? What is he not telling us? I’ll post an update later with more info.

I have only read Rogue Threat so far, looking forward to reading Sudden Threat. When I picked it up on the Rec of Brad Thor, I thought I’d read a couple of chapters and go to bed......WRONG....I finally put it down at 3 am. Great book. Look forward to more adventures with Matt Garrett. I’m sure he will keep me entertained.
All I really want to say is that the OLD boys, Brad Thor, Vince Flynn, Jim Rollins , and Tom Clancy better move over and make room , cause I can tell you are going to walk all over them.
Write faster, can’t wait for the next one.

Thanks Kasi--Right now to be mentioned in the same sentence as Brad, Vince, Jim and Tom is quite an honor. I’m writing as fast as I can with four books completed in the series so far. Sudden is out next week followed by a re-release of Rogue with new chapters and a new ending summer 09. Then Hidden Threat followed by Dark Threat. Thanks for being a loyal reader.

It’s good that you are donating to USO; I served with the US Army & US Navy (long story) for 8 years but I have not given as much as you and others have to our nation. That said; I must have purchased the first draft of Sudden Threat that was mistakenly published on Amazon. A.J. I am sure you’re a great guy, friend, soldier and leader but you are a horrible horrible author. Email me if you want examples. Or let someone other than a friend review the book

I agree that giving to the USO is a noble act that gives back to the fighting men and women that have given us all so much through their sacrifice.
In regard to everything else in Mr. “Irony“‘s post, I would like to respectfully disagree. Unfortunately I have only read Sudden Threat and when I attempted to track down Rogue Threat I was only able to find a few used copies ranging from 50 to 60USD. I think I’ll just have to wait on the re-release. What amazes me is that “Irony” disagrees with pretty much everyone else and for what? To show simply that they can? To prove to themselves that they have big enough brass ones to do so? or maybe the answer is simpler and lays with age old jealousy, maybe they themselves are a failed writer and cannot stand to see others succeed. It is, in my humble opinion, a rather arrogant statement to make in contradiction to the well respected people that have reviewed this book. The fact that you fail to reveal your true identity says it all. Shame on you, and thank goodness I have better taste than that.
The simple fact is that I trusted the folks who are very well respected authors and reviewers of this particular genre and found that I was right to do so. The book was well written with a very compelling story line that kept me reading from the first paragraph until the very last page. I’ll admit that I ran into maybe two editing errors that were not misspells but likely a mis-correction involving grammar that was likely made by software, but it wasn’t like those two small mistakes in a full length novel were a big deal, they certainly didn’t make the book confusing or difficult to understand. I say good job to the author and hope to see more material soon.
In fact my only complaint is that I cannot easily obtain a copy of the original Rogue Threat, I would’ve really enjoyed reading that and then reading the re-release as well, All I can really say here, Mr. Tata, is that as long as you write books, you’ll have a dedicated reader and fan; Thank you for your work and the enormous satisfaction and contentment with which it has provided me.
Thanks again,
Dan Lesley, Jr.

Sir, I could not put your book down for two day`s. I`am prior 11B and U.S.A.F. Security Police retired in 1994 after having cancer while with the 89th SPS Andrews A.F.B. Reading your book made me want to camo-up and hump a ruck. I feel that Sudden Threat is without a doubt the best book I have ever read, including all of Tom Clancy. I look foreward to reading many more in the years to come.DRIVE ON

Enjoyed Sudden Threat though it was very difficult to get through the first 20 pages. My husband is now reading this as well.
Small suggestion for paper back copies or future reprints - add places like Cabanatuan and other towns to your map please.
Can’t wait to read Rogue Threat!

Over the last few years, i’ve read quite a few military action thrillers and my regular runs to Barns&Nobles;was getting not turning up much to be exited about till I picked up a copy of Suddne Threat.
547 pages in two days! (my wife hates you though) and again with Rogue Threat, another book in 24 hrs (hates you even more) Now I can’t think of any book that captivated me as much as these two.
Now I can’t wait till your next book Hidden Threat hits the stand!
P.S. Your last book did not mention the release date for Hidden Threat. Can you please let this addict know when to expect it?

Dear Sir,
First off, thank you for your service. I found the rec from Brad Thor’s website as I was determining the order in which his books are written.
Now I find myself wondering about yours. Would you recommend that I read “Rouge Threat” first or begin with the prequel “Sudden Threat”?
Thanks,
Darin Layton
